Emily’s Place began when one woman chose to travel from Arizona to Oregon to help another woman whose life had been devastated by illness.
That gift of practical love, courage, and human connection became a promise: no woman facing catastrophic illness should have to carry it all alone.
We carry that promise forward—one woman, one commitment of compassion, one restored life at a time.

What It Means To Help (THE ONE)
A catastrophic health crisis does not only affect the body. It can impact independence, income, housing, relationships, safety, parenting capacity, dignity, identity, and the ability to complete ordinary tasks that once went unnoticed. For a woman living in that reality, help can be profoundly practical:
• A safe place to rest and recover
• A ride, a meal, laundry, groceries, or help keeping a home livable
• A compassionate person who listens and believes her
• Help navigating benefits, appointments, housing, resources, or advocacy
• A care circle that helps her stay connected to life
• The dignity of being seen as a whole person—not as a burden
Emily’s Place is a vision of people helping people when illness has pushed someone to the margins. Not a donor or funder seeking enterprise. It’s the work of Restoring Faith in Humanity.
